What if I panic mid-lesson?+
You tell your instructor and you stop, right there. We use real, single-control cars by design — a dual-control safety net would only get in the way of the confidence we're building — so your instructor talks you through every moment and paces the session entirely to your comfort. There's no requirement to attempt anything you're not ready for.
Is the car dual-control?+
No — and that's deliberate. A dual-control car lets an instructor quietly take over, which means you never fully find out you can do it yourself. Every SteerClub session uses a real, single-control car with a certified instructor beside you, so the confidence you build is genuinely yours to keep.
Will I be alone with a stranger?+
You'll be with a certified SteerClub instructor, trained on the Steer Score methodology and evaluated in-vehicle by the founder before they teach. Instructor details are shared with your booking confirmation.
What if my score is low — does that mean I'm hopeless?+
No. A 0–30 score is the most common starting point SteerClub sees, not a red flag. It simply tells your instructor exactly where to start.
Do I need to take the assessment before booking a program?+
No — you can book any program directly. The Steer Score assessment is optional but recommended: it gives your instructor a data-driven read on your specific gaps before the program starts, so sessions are matched to what you actually need.
